Finding a great Irish golf course shouldn't be a chore

Every golfer wants to explore new courses and experience the best Ireland has to offer, but finding a track that suits your game, plans and budget can be tough.

How it started

The story behind GemTees

In 2024 I was planning a golf weekend with 3 friends. I've played a lot so wanted a challenging course. My friends play off mid-handicaps and wanted something manageable. We all wanted an affordable green fee with a great town and nightlife nearby.

I quickly realised the info we needed wasn't available - and nobody wanted to just go back to the same courses we usually play.

We eventually settled on Strandhill in Sligo (a hidden gem) but only after weeks of Googling, asking for recommendations and a few arguments in-between.

We started GemTees to remove the hassle and make course hunting more enjoyable. Finding the perfect course for you should be as easy as picking something to watch on Netflix.

What we're about

Built on data

We're building the largest database of Irish golf courses in the world. We want to take the guesswork out of choosing where you play. Life is too short for disappointing rounds.

Golfer-first experience

Whether it's a day trip or a bucket-list holiday, we build around the things golfers actually care about. Think of us like Trivago, but for Irish golf.

Make planning fun

Planning doesn't have to be a slog. It should feel exciting. We give you the tools to make course discovery fun and surprising.
